Paul Edward Underwood, 45, of Tollesboro, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Underwood was a veteran of Desert Storm having served in the US Army. He was an associate of Green Tokai for 15 years and a graduate of Tollesboro High School.
He was born in Waukegan, Illinois, on June 13, 1971, a son of the late Paul E. Underwood and Grace Gilbert Applegate.
Survivors include Kathy Underwood of Winchester; three sisters, Jeannie Stacy and Christine Applegate, both of Tollesboro, and Laura Hollon of Richmond; one brother, Carl Applegate of Tollesboro; one grandchild, Peyton Williamson; two nephews, Donald Henderson and Paul Henderson, both of Tollesboro; and one niece, Jessica Hatton of Mount Sterling.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro with Rev. Phil Cropper officiating.
Burial will be in Happy Hollow Cemetery.
