Paulette Kimbler, 73, of Vanceburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born January 11, 1950, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Moody Kimbler and Edna Mae Sullivan Kimbler.
Paulette was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family and friends, family gatherings, flowers and working in her garden, and sitting outside enjoying the beautiful days. Paulette had a special little dog she loved named Jake.
Paulette is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (Neil) Sexton of Lexington; one grandson, Hayden Sexton; one brother, Clyde (Shelly) Sullivan of Tollesboro; one sister, Goldie (Kenneth) Cooley of Vanceburg; three nieces, Lily (Doug) Darlington, Cindy (Garrick) Fetters, and Shirley (Chuck) Williams, all of Vanceburg; three nephews, Kenneth Cooley Jr., John (Tammy) Cooley, and Nathan Davis, all of Vanceburg; six great nieces and nephews, Elijah Smith, Kenny Darlington, Hayden Fetters, Brooklyn Cooley, Bryson Williams, and Shaia Fetters; along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Lynn Kimbler; and one brother, George Arlin Kimbler.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Chapel, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg with Bro. Barry Nolen and Bro. Homer Nolen officiating. Burial will follow in Tollesboro Cemetery in Tollesboro.
Doug Darlington, John Potter, Todd Landshaw, and Charles Smith will serve as pallbearers.
