Pete Clark

Clarence “Pete” Clark, 64, of South Shore, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born July 31, 1960, in Lewis County, a son of the late Monroe and Cardella Bloomfield Clark.

Pete enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, socializing, and would play the guitar and sing a song if the mood was right. His kindness and patience will have a lasting effect on those who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Pete is survived by one son, Charles (Rachael) Branscum of Flemingsburg; one sister, Nancy (Jeff) Madden of Garrison; one brother, Joseph (Tonya) Clark of Garrison; and four grandchildren, Andrew Toler, Elijah Toler, Kloe Martin, and Annabeth Branscom. Many other friends and neighbors also survive who will sadly miss him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vanessa Gibson; and four brothers, Leslie Clark, James Clark, Albert Clark, and Brian Clark.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with his son Charles Branscum officiating. Burial will follow in Spy Run Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.

Pallbearers will be Joe Clark, Derrick Goddard, Tanner Robinson, Dennis Clark, Joey Clark, Bud Clark, and Darin Kelly.
