Rachel Ann Lewis Shepherd, 70, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born February 12, 1951, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Bruce and Grace Johnson Lewis.
Rachel enjoyed cooking, gardening, working in flowers, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her second husband, Buddy Corns; one son, Leon (Cindy) Shepherd of Vanceburg; one brother, Mike (Faye) Lewis of Vanceburg; three sisters, Nancy (Earl) Mullins of Dayton, Ohio, Dianna Lewis of Lebanon, Ohio, and Cindy (Roger) Zimbleman of Kearney, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Joshua Shepherd and Josef (Myriah) Shepherd; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley Shepherd and Luke Shepherd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Shepherd, to whom she was married for 37 years, and one brother, Arnold Lewis.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Methodist Cemetery at Quincy.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Rachel’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
