Rickey Almo Jordan, 67, of Greenup County, passed away Friday evening, September 27, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
He was born on September 9, 1952, in Franklin County, Ohio, a son of the late Albert and Helen Logan Jordan.
Rickey was a member of the Carter City Church of Christ and was retired from construction work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with his family and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Rickey is survived by his wife of 51 years, Stella Pauline Madden Jordan; three daughters, Lori Dummitt (Timmy), Ricca Jordan (Terry Bertram) and Jessica Rister (Billy) all of Garrison; two brothers, Vernon Jordan of Grayson and Terry Jordan of Grassy; and one sister, Vicky Law of Flatwoods; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Howard Goddard.
A graveside service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2019, at Bark Hollow Cemetery in Greenup County with Bro. Lonzo Horsley officiating.
His grandsons will be pallbearers.
All arrangements are being cared for by Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison.
