Rolf Whitney Spriggs, 57, of Quincy, passed away Monday morning, February 29, 2016, at his residence.
He was born August 14, 1958, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Eldene Elizabeth Kennedy Spriggs of LaBelle, Florida, and the late John Clarence Spriggs.
Rolf was member of Quincy Church of Christ and was an iron worker/welder. He enjoyed going to church, flying radio controlled airplanes, woodworking, sawing lumber, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Rolf is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joy Jones Spriggs; one daughter, Whitney Joy Spriggs of Quincy; one brother, Eric Wayne Spriggs of Quincy; and one sister, Lisa Spriggs Horton of LaBelle, Florida. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A celebration of life service was Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Quincy Church of Christ with Bro. Danny Bentley officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery at Quincy.
Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison cared for all arrangements.
