Ronnie Enix, 70, of Laurel, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 13, 2025, at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 11, 1954, at Garrison, a son of Verdis Jordan Enix of Laurel and the late Clyde Enix.
Ronnie was pastor of 1068 Independent Church of Christ and loved attending church. He enjoyed gardening, sitting on the porch reading his Bible, riding his golf cart, and most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and their trips to Cracker Barrel.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Butler Enix; one son, Zebedee (Kerri) Enix of Laurel; four brothers, Dale (Debbie) Enix, Tom (Betty Jo) Enix, and Donnie Enix of Laurel, and Doug (Casey) Enix of Vanceburg; and three grandchildren, Mckenzee Enix, Hudson Enix, and Emmy Rose Enix. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1068 Independent Church of Christ, 6990 Laurel Creek Road, with Bro. Jason Caudill and Bro. Bobby Buckler officiating. Burial will follow in Enix Family Cemetery on Tar Fork.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix, and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1068 Independent Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Zebedee Enix, Dale Enix, Tom Enix, Donnie Enix, Doug Enix, Jesse Enix, Blake Rogers, Donaven Butler, and Ray Butler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mckenzee Enix, Hudson Enix, and Emmy Rose Enix.
