Ronnie Allen Kinney, 61, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday morning, October 16, 2017, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
He was born October 25, 1955, in Lewis County, a son of the late Willie Charles and Jeretha Louise Ginn Kinney.
Ronnie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working on vehicles, hunting, four-wheeling, farming and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by one son, Dylan Kennedy of Vanceburg; three grandchildren, Chloe Kennedy, Diesel Kennedy and Brayden Kennedy; two brothers, Thomas Kinney (Brenda) and Mark Kinney all of Vanceburg; one sister, Dorothy Gilliam (Gordon) of Vanceburg; one niece, Amanda Gilliam; and his special friend and care giver, Carman Williamson Kinney. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Charles Kinney.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas – Kinney Cemetery on KY 989.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
