Ronnie Lee Meadows, 63, of Wallingford, passed away Monday morning, May 8, 2017, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
He was born September 7, 1953, in Mason County, a son of the late Walter Carl and Dora Dean Sparks Meadows.
Ronnie was a member of Petersville Christian Church and enjoyed taking care of his cattle, farming, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 12 years, Gloria Anna Mae Thurman Meadows; a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Peggy Moore of Petersville; a daughter, Jennifer Highfield of Maysville; one grandchild, Dustin Moore; one great-grandchild, Brantley Moore; and one brother, Carl Ray Meadows of Petersville. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn June Overbey.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Arnold Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be JR Cooley, Danny Knell, Russell Watson, Ray Meadows, Shane Wallingford, and Brandon Meadows.
