Rosalie Bennett Mead, 80, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Kettering Health in Kettering, Ohio.
She was born in Lewis County on June 26, 1942, a daughter of the late Samuel and Midgetta McCane Bennett.
Rosalie enjoyed making crafts, listening to bluegrass music, helping people, playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Larry Mead Jr. Of Deer Park, Ohio; two daughters, Lora Cobb of Maysville and Michele Mead of Hamilton, Ohio; two sisters, Marcella Meadows of Greensburg, Indiana, and Loretta Mefford of Hilliard, Ohio; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Mickey Bennett, Scott Bennett, and William Bennett, and two sisters, Frances Parsley and Daisy Bennett.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Mike Grayson officiating. Burial will follow in Muses Chapel Cemetery on Quicks Run Road.
Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Pallbearers will be Michael Timberlake, Jacob Cobb, Carl Cobb, Leslie Timberlake, Samuel Cobb, and Rebecca Cobb.
