Roy Delphin Riddle, 73, of Chalk Ridge, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
He was born March 18, 1948, in Lewis County, a son of the late William and Fredia Tulley Riddle.
Roy was a member of Plumville Church of Christ and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Roy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Kay Ward Riddle; two sons, Roy Allen Riddle of Plumville, and Rodney Delphin Riddle (Rachel) of Tollesboro; five sisters, Avanell Eppenstiner of Maysville, Evelyn Riddle of Aberdeen, Ohio, Garneda McCall, Joyce Moore and Thelma Stone all of Maysville; and four grandchildren, Morgan Taylor, Benjamin Cole, Nathaniel Harrison, and Raylan Peyton. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon Riddle, Willard Riddle, Delmas Riddle, and Gene Riddle, and four sisters, infant twins Dawn and Connie, Maxine Liles, and Bonnie Riddle.
Services will be at Noon Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Kevin Watson officiating. Interment will follow in East Fork Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until Noon, Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro.
Pallbearers will be Roy Allen Riddle, Rodney Riddle, Nathaniel Riddle, John Ward, Rickey McCall and Ronnie McCall. Ben Riddle will serve as honorary pallbearer.
