Russell Eugene Edington, 46, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born May 11, 1974, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Harold and Carol Marie Cooley Edington.
Russell enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Russell is survived by one son, Ryan Hugh Turner of Vanceburg; three daughters, Amanda Gilliam and Becky Hedge, both of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Nicole Gilliam of Flemingsburg; one brother, Calvin Edington of South Shore; two sisters, Carolyn Brown and Drema Scott, both of Vanceburg; and one grandchild. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Carrington.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
