Scotty Dale Rowe, 40, of Vanceburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 29, 2024.
Scotty was born at Morehead on May 20, 1983, a son of Bill Hardy of Tollesboro and Debbie Rowe of Vanceburg. Scotty was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was very talented in whittling pieces of wood into about anything you might want. Scotty had worked for Journey’s Jumpys for the past four years. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Jolene Rowe of Grayson; a son, Scotty Rowe Jr. of Grayson; two sisters, Kayla (Joey) Caseman of Tollesboro and Ashley Rowe of Morehead; and his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Applegate of Vanceburg.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clifford Applegate, and an uncle, Christopher “Rocky” Applegate.
A memorial service will be planned.
