Sharon Sue Bishop Shields, 74, of Tollesboro, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Fleming County Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1949, in Mason County, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Verona May Gilkison Bishop.
Sharon loved working in her flowers, taking care of her animals, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Coffey of Mt. Carmel, Jason Coffey of Dallas, Texas, and Nicky Shields of Maysville; one sister, Mary Lu Stephens of Mt. Carmel; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lenisha Carolyn Highfield, and a sister, Bobbie Sapp.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 Ky 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Randy Sapp officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Pallbearers will be Nicky Shields, Jason Coffey, Brandon Coffey, Coty Coffey, Zach Highfield, and Devin Highfield.
