Sherry Lynne Dyer, 60, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio, after an extended illness. Her family was at her side.
Sherry was born in Oceanside, California, April 26, 1960, a daughter of the late Cleavie Flanery Jr. and Delores Cooper Flanery.
She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sherry was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include a son, Roger D. Dyer Jr. of Vanceburg; two sisters, Tonya Flanery Cooper and her companion William Liles of Vanceburg, and Tina Munn of Portsmouth, Ohio; a brother, Anthony “Tony” Flanery of Firebrick; and her grandchildren, Sabrina Kamer of Quincy, Jeremy Taylor of Vanceburg, Atreyu Dyer and Zachery Dyer of South Shore.
She was preceded in death was her husband, Roger D. Dyer Sr.; two daughters, Gail Rebecca Flanery and Stephanie Taylor; a brother, Rick Flanery; and a grandson, Andrew Dyer.
A graveside service will be in Ford Cemetery at Firebrick at the convenience of the family.
