Shirley Catherine Ford Osborne, 84, of Camp Dix, passed away Monday evening, December 23, 2019, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
She was born October 28, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Wenciel and Thelma Thompson Ford.
Shirley attended the Scotts Branch Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 64 years, Herman Lloyd Osborne; two sons, Daniel Osborne of Camp Dix, and Michael Osborne (Mary) of Globe; five daughters, Sherry Brown of Camp Dix, Cindy Herndon (David) of Orlando, Florida, Gretta Makepeace (Kevin) of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Sandra Valle (Robert) of Victoria, Texas, and Rita Taste (Scott) of Orange City, Flordia; one sister, Joyce Thurber (Bill) of Winchester; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Karl Osborne.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
