Sue Ann Wright Goerner, 59, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
She was born January 18, 1966, a daughter of the late Paul Wright and Dora Lightner Wright.
Sue Ann was of the Christian Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping at thrift stores, spending time with her family, and listening to music with her grandmother.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Wilson of Garrison; two sons, Ricky Wilson and Jeremy Wilson of Vanceburg; one sister, Carol McKinney of Vanceburg; four brothers, Paul Wright of Garrison, Eddie Wright of Tollesboro, Keith Shore of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Anthony Fox of Tennessee; and eight grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Lightner.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the home of Tammy Horsley in Garrison with Bro. Chris Lawhun officiating. Burial will be in Horsley Family Cemetery at Garrison.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Horsley residence.
