Gwendolyn Sue (Stone) Hamilton, 78, went to be with Jesus on December 13, 2025.
Born March 20, 1947, Sue was a 1965 graduate of Lewis County High School. She married the love of her life, Vic, in 1968 and the couple moved to Wyandotte, Michigan.
She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church where she used one of her many talents to make quilts for missionaries. She made quilts for Lewis County High School’s JROTC program to be raffled off for fundraising, as well as lap quilts and other crafts for nursing home residents.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Victor Hamilton; her son, Chris (Tina) Hamilton; a sister, Dusty (Gene) Tinsley; a brother, David (Ann) Stone; her grandson, Justin Hamilton; a cousin, Debbie Stone; and a close friend, Beverly White. Many others who knew and loved Sue will sadly miss her.
Her final resting place will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Wyandotte, Michigan.
