A Vanceburg teen escaped serious injury Monday when the auto she was operating went off the roadway after a front tire reportedly blew out.
Deputy Eric Poynter said the accident happened on Ky. Rt. 8 between Quincy and St. Paul as a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, operated by Ciara Borger, 19, of Vanceburg,  was traveling west on the roadway.
Poynter said Borger reported the left front tire of the auto blew out, causing the auto to pull left.
