Thelma Faye Ginn Fannin, 81, of Ardmore, Alabama, formerly of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday morning, February 18, 2018, at her home.
She was born October 10, 1936, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Ray and Ruby Lykins Ginn.
Thelma attended the Church of Christ and loved watching UK Basketball, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Thelma is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Rita Fannin of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Jeff Balentine of Lexington, Alabama; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ray Ginn Jr. “Bud” and Richard Ginn, both of Lucasville, Ohio, Mike Ginn of Sharpsburg, and Roger Ginn of Brooksville . She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Gene Fannin, and a sister, Carol “Jeannie” Stone.
Services will beat 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Richard Ginn officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery in Lewis County .
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be Justin Fannin, Andy Fannin, Jeremy Beck, Jeff Balentine, Jason Vickers and Roger Ginn.
