Thomas “Bobby” Franklin King, 71, of Wallingford, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his residence.
Bobby attended Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching car races, working, socializing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Meadows King; one son, Frank (Jackie) King of Wallingford; one daughter, Crystal (Adam) Eachus of Wallingford; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Johnny King and Mike King, both of Vanceburg, and Joe King of Wallingford; three sisters, Gloria Duncan and Debbie Clark, both of Vanceburg and Terrie Swim of Flemingsburg. Many other family and friends will sadly miss him.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg with Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Esham Cemetery.
Frankie King, Austin King, Clay Meadows, Ronnie Meadows, Chuck Blevins, and Dink Crawford will serve as pallbearers.
Albert Stamm, Johnny King, Mike King, Joe King, Frank Crawford, and Dubby Swim will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Thomas “Bobby” Franklin King.
