Timothy Matthew Grant, 50, of Garrison, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at his home, after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 26, 1968, in Orange County, California, a son of Harry and Elsie Jagnow Grant of Fairhope, Alabama.
Timothy loved ocean fishing, hunting, music, grilling out, and his coin and gun collection. He enjoyed working hard and worked most of his life on the barges, where he ended up being a pilot. Timothy was a dedicated father, husband, best friend and son. He will be truly missed.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Holland Grant; three daughters, Nycole Osborne, Krystin Grant, and Lyndsi Grant, all of Garrison; a son-in-law, Jacob Osborne; two sons, Clifford Torres and Steven Torres, both of Burlington, Vermont; one granddaughter, Elaynna Grant; four brothers, Rick Grant of Arizona, Robert Grant and Clifford Grant, both of California, and Michael Grant (Nancy) of Alabama; three sisters, Debra Morris (Bud) and Tammy Hustava, both of Alabama, and Gwen Goldsberry (Don) of California; and his Kentucky family, Kenneth and Connie Holland, Ken Holland (Tina) and Trina Holland. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Theodore Hustava, Jeffrey Grant and David Grant and one son-in-law, Derek Hettinger.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
