Arrest made in Tollesboro thefts

Deputy Bryon Walker said a Tollesboro man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a riding lawnmower and other items from around the former Tollesboro High School building.
Walker said a lawn mower matching the description of a stolen mower was spotted through the open doors of a storage building on Ky. Rt. 10 in Tollesboro late Monday, June 20.

He said after getting consent to search the premises, he and Deputy Matt Ross recovered the stolen mower and all other items that had been reported missing. He said 32 marijuana plants were also discovered growing in the open behind the residence.
