Tracy Lynn Hamilton, 60, of Tollesboro, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her loving family was at her side.
Tracy was born at Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, June 23, 1962, a daughter of the late Marvin Eugene and Rebecca Alice Kissenger Henry.
Tracy was a homemaker and loved reading her Bible. Her favorite passages in the Bible were in Job. Most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren. Tracy was a lifelong member of Petersville Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memories are a daughter, Amanda Mae (Leonard) Tumlin of Tollesboro; a son, Kenneth Howard Hamilton II of Vanceburg; a sister, Gloria Henry of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Dennis Henry of Manchester, Ohio, Eugene Henry of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Amos Henry of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Thomas Henry of Cocoa, Florida; three grandchildren, Heather (Gage) Humphries, Marisa Langworthy and her fiancé (Allen Powell), and Jonathan Tumlin; and one great-grandson, Atticus Humphries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan W. Hamilton in 2004, and two brothers, Richard Henry and Kenneth Henry.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Pastor Arnold Howell officiating.
Burial will be in Adams-Plank Cemetery in Rowan County at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022, one hour prior to services at Gaydos Funeral Home.
