Two hurt in AA crash at Tollesboro

Two people were hurt in a three-vehicle accident on the AA Highway near Tollesboro Monday evening. Chief Deputy Matt Ross is investigating the crash.
Two people were hurt in a three-vehicle accident on the AA Highway near Tollesboro Monday evening. Chief Deputy Matt Ross is investigating the crash.

The operators of two of the three vehicles involved in an accident on the AA Highway near Tollesboro Monday were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Chief Deputy Matt Ross said the accident happened on the AA Highway at the entrance to Rolling Hills Estates just before 5:30 p.m.

Ross said a 2002 Chevy Avalanche operated by Cynthia Phillips, 48, of Tollesboro, was headed east on the AA Highway and had stopped to make a left turn into the subdivision.
