Vicki Toller Laney, 59, of Tollesboro, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. A heart full of love quit beating and went to the Lord where her pain and suffering are replaced with rejoicing.
She was born August 10, 1962, at Vanceburg, a daughter of Leo Toller and the late Freida Ann Fite Toller.
Vicki was of the Baptist faith, having last faithfully attended Victory Baptist Church in Flemingsburg. She loved camping with her family.
Before her illness, Vicki enjoyed animals. She loved her dogs and grieved whenever she lost one through the years. She enjoyed her chickens, calves, and pigs when she was able to take care of them.
Vicki is survived by her loving spouse of 43 years, Denver Laney Jr.; a son, Aaron Laney of Tollesboro; two daughters, Lisa (Brad) Fugate of Lancaster and Cheryl “Nikki” Laney (Alex McRoberts) of Flemingsburg; six grandchildren, Braden, Noah, Laney, Alexis, Austin, and Anna; and a brother, Randal Toller of Vanceburg.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wayne Toller.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Donnie Burford of the Smith Irvine Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends and family may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Dickerson Funeral Home,110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Laney, Alex McRoberts, Ryan Bradley, Brad Fugate, Mark Meece, and Kenny Bill Bradley.
