Viola Jewell Webb, 92, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2016, after a short but brave battle with cancer.
She was preceded by her son, Russell and husband Donald.
She leaves behind son Rick, sister June, niece Patricia, and nephews Kendall and Neil.
Viola was born in Vanceburg on August 2, 1923, to George and Effie Logan. She moved to Dayton with her aunt after high school and joined her two older sisters, Thelma and Pauline.
Dayton is also where she met and married Donald Webb. After many years in the Dayton area, the family started traveling with Don’s work. They went to Denver, southern California, Phoenix and finally settled in Florida with Don’s brother, Bill, and family.
She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and seamstress, always decorating each home they moved to.
She will be remembered by family and friends for her positive lookout, kindness, grace, and devotion to her family.
Services will be held at Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 North Dixie Drive in Dayton, at Noon on Saturday May 21, 2016.
