Wanda Jane Ginn

Wanda Jane Thomas Ginn, 86, of Maysville, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.

She was born in Lewis County on November 22, 1936, a daughter of the late Adrian and Mildred Hord Thomas.

Wanda was a teacher in the Mason and Lewis County school systems for 37 years. She was a Christian and enjoyed reading her Bible and her daily scriptures. She enjoyed teaching and spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by Donald Faul; one son, Michael (Jenny) Ginn of Maysville; one daughter, Margie (Joe) Weber of Maysville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Thomas and Freddie Thomas.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Kent Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Pallbearers will be Josh Weber, Christopher Weber, Craig Weber, Tyler Ginn, Mark Thomas, and Kelly Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Patrick School, Hospice of Hope, or Olivet Methodist Church.
