William Shelton Bellamy, 84, of Maysville, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Maysville.
He was born October 5, 1938, in Fleming County, a son of the late Cecil and Emma Rodgers Bellamy.
He enjoyed woodworking, watching UK Basketball, NASCAR, old TV westerns, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Patricia Gulley Bellamy; one son, Doug (Stephanie) Bellamy of Maysville; two brothers, Wayne Bellamy of Troy, Ohio, and Paul Bellamy of Tollesboro; three sisters, Jane Baker of Maysville, and Wilma Wilson and Evelyn Griffitt of Tollesboro; seven grandchildren, Josh (Jenny) Miller, Brandon (Amy) Miller, Seth (Samantha) Sweet, Kristian Bellamy, William Griffith, Tori (Owen) Williams, James Griffith; and five great-grandchildren, Melody, Levi, Luke Landon, and Nolan. Many other family and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Miller, and three brothers, Donnie Bellamy, Ronnie Bellamy, and Cecil Bellamy.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. David Hickerson officiating.
Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
