William Isaac Potter Jr., 73, of Union, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born August 19, 1951, in Lewis County, a son of the late William Isaac Potter Sr. and Dorothy Riley Potter.
William enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Scott (Deena) Potter of Florence and Josh (Jamie) Potter of Hebron; two sisters, Loretta Potter and Alberta Orlandi of Dry Ridge; one brother, Joe (Marla) Potter of Tollesboro; two sisters-in-law, Jane Potter of Quincy and Billie Potter of Garrison; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Dean Potter, Norman Potter, and Tom Potter.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with William’s nephew, Brian Potter, and Bro. Milt Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery at Garrison.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Reynolds, Gavin Potter, Codey Potter, Tommy Potter, Dustin Baker, and Jeremy Crouch.
