Winnie Lee Conner Buckner, 66, of Tollesboro, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born at Fernandina Beach, Florida, on November 16, 1961, a daughter of the late John Conner and Dorothy Lee Graham Conner.
Winnie was a life long homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, painting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Chris Buckner; two sons, Robert Wingate of Alabama and Thomas Wingate of Florida; a daughter, Kelly Potter of Tollesboro; and a brother, Jerry Boyd of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Woodrow Wingate, and a brother, Woodrow Boyd.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Ricky Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in Buckner Family Cemetery at Tollesboro.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Wingate, Lathan Dyer, Jereimah Wingate, Tyler Wingate, Harold Potter, and Dewey Graham.
