Zachary Richard Maddox, 14, of Hurst Road, Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
Born August 28, 2001, in Morehead, Zachary is the son of David Maddox of Farmers and Shawn Cox Craft and Buddy Dwayne Craft, his stepfather, of Wallingford.
He is also survived by one brother, Peyton Bryce Craft of Wallingford; paternal grandmother, Elois Logan Maddox of Portsmouth, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Craig and Libby Middleton Cox of Wallingford; and other family members and friends.
Zachary was a freshman at the Fleming County High School and a member of the Panther Bowling Team. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Pea Ridge Community Church in Wallingford with the Rev. Harley Sexton Jr. and the Rev. Justin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Cox Family Cemetery at Wallingford.
Pallbearers will be Charles Foster, Brian Middleton, Paul Cox, Scotty Cox, Cody McVey, Randy Workman, Harold Riley, and Jared Hammonds.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead and from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Pea Ridge Community Church at Wallingford.
