James Gregory “Greg” Fizer, 57, of Maysville, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Mason County on October 19, 1967, a son of Joyce Ratliff Fizer Kendall of Maysville and the late Roger Fizer. He was also raised by James “Jim” Kendall, who loved and cared for him as a son.
Greg was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, loafing, the outdoors, camping, going out to eat with friends, and spending time with family.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two half-sisters, Kim (Ron) Welch of Sand Hill and Alicia (Jason) Kinninger of Covington; one brother, Roger “Buck” Fizer of Maysville; and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Olivet Cemetery in Mason County with Bro. Jerry Blevins officiating.
Pallbearers will be Buck Fizer, Jesse Fizer, Jimmy Lykins, Charlie Swift, Dwayne Rice, Ron Welch, Jeff Garrett, and Jason Kinninger.
Monte Lewis Stamm Post 5438 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
