Mark William Murphy, 67, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at Best Care Health and Rehabilitation in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
He was born December 16, 1958, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of Donna Holtzapfel Rose of Ironton, Ohio, and the late Billy Milson Murphy.
Mark was an avid Texas A&M sports fan. He enjoyed playing golf and loved his son dearly.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Nicholas William (Jennifer) Murphy of College Station, Texas; one sister, Beth (Mark) Pierson of Ironton, Ohio; one brother, Jeff (Connie) Murphy of West Portsmouth, Ohio; a granddaughter, Evelyn Renee Murphy; two nephews, Corey Steed and Casey Steed; and a special friend, Cheryl Davis. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
