Anthony Layne Hardymon, 58, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was born in Fleming County on November 23, 1967, a son of the late Milton “Doc” and Nancy Kay Maddox Hardymon.
He enjoyed playing on his phone, working on farm equipment, eating snack cakes, and spending time with family.
Survivors include three daughters, Makayla Hardymon of Vanceburg, and Emma Hardymon and Kaitlin Hardymon of Wallingford; two sisters, Alice Hardymon of Ohio and Rebecca Hardymon of Indiana; and nine grandchildren, Alayah, Dawson, Zara Lynn, Asher, Kayden, Brayden, Jayden, Ryker, and Carson. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tabatha Lee Hardymon.
Services will be at Noon Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. John Byard officiating.
Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
