Barbara Sue “Sue” Thompson, 83, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
She was a daughter of the late Leo and Virginia White.
Sue had a love for adventure and enjoyed traveling throughout the world, including trips to Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Italy.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Michael Thompson; a daughter, Kimberly (Carl) Gensler; a son, Michael Thompson II; a sister, Patti Ishmael; a brother, Kenny (Jane) White; three grandchildren, Lauren Gensler, Alaina Thompson, and Daniel Gensler; and numerous other family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle; two sisters, Charlotte Vice and Laura Schrader; and two brothers-in-law, Ron Ishmael and Sammy Vice.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
A reception will follow from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. at Magnolia Event Center at Spring Grove Funeral Home.
