Brian Lee Matlock, 40, of Concord, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Tollesboro.
He was born at Terre Haute, Indiana, on April 26, 1986, a son of Darla Price Gore of Vanceburg and the late Terry Wayne Matlock Sr.
He enjoyed working on trucks and cars with his son, traveling the back roads, sightseeing, and putting Christopher in bed.
Survivors include his fiancée, Ashley Wallingford; one son, Jesse Lee (Mace) Matlock of Bryant, Indiana; and two brothers, Terry Matlock Jr. and Eric (Kaylah) Matlock of Bluffton, Indiana. Many other family members and friends will also sadly miss him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, EJ Matlock.
A celebration of life service will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Concord Church.
