Chuck Riffe

Charles “Chuck” Harrison Riffe, 63, of Garrison, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on February 16, 1963, a son of James (Lana Kay) Riffe of Garrison and the late Linda Witten Riffe.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, coon hunting, being outdoors, playing horseshoes, shooting pool, and hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his father, survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Caseman Riffe; three daughters, Stephanie (Anthony) Corns of Garrison, Christy (Kenneth) Carver of Quincy, and Kelli Jo Riffe of Vanceburg; three sisters, Linda May Wilson of North Carolina, and Edna Riffe and Ethel Bolander of Garrison; two brothers, David (Joann) Riffe and George (Darcy) Riffe of Garrison; five grandchildren, Henry Carver, Elaina Carver, Kayrena Corns, Ariona Riffe, and Sawyer Laney; and one great-grandson on the way, Slayton Corns. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Riffe Jr., and two grandsons, Isaac Corns and Charles Anthony Lee Corns. 

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenuea at Garrison, with Bro. Anthony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in Caseman-Riffe Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Henry Carver, Aaron Hall, George Riffe, Darrin Hall, Eli Riffe, Sawyer Laney, David Riffe, and David Riffe Jr.
