Larry Thurman, 74, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Lewis County on September 3, 1947, a son of the late Norpa and Lillie Swim Thurman.
Larry is survived by one son, Larry Thurman Jr. of Maysville; one daughter, Deanna Hoskins of Flemingsburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Thurman, and a sister, Thelma Thurman.
At the family’s request, there will be a private graveside service at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Tollesboro.
