Martha Faye Highfield Conn, 72, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lewis County on January 2, 1954, a daughter of the late Otto and Opal Prather Highfield.
She was a member of East Fork Christian Church and a former teacher’s aide at Tollesboro Elementary, where she loved caring for her students. She enjoyed playing cornhole and time spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Myron Ray Conn; one daughter, Tracy (Kelly) Bradford of Vanceburg; one son, Terry (Katie) Conn of Tollesboro; one sister, Paula (Timmy) Palmer of Wallingford; three grandchildren, Brittani Henderson, Todd Blevins, and Garrett Conn; and three great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Grayson, and Maxwell. Many other family members and friends will also sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Mitchell Highfield, Sonny Highfield, James Highfield, and Ricky Highfield; three sisters, Delma McCall, Glenda Highfield, and Linda Highfield.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 11918 Ky 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Charles Hampton and Bro. Joe Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in East Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brittani Henderson, Garrett Conn, Todd Blevins, Jeremy Hampton, Mark Hampton, and Todd Tolliver.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
