Rhonda Gail Kamer, 67, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lewis County on July 31, 1959, a daughter of the late Melvin and Lucy Bentley Kamer.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Yates of Vanceburg; one sister, Brenda Blaine of South Shore; one brother, Mike Kamer of Quincy; a brother-in-law, Jerry Bloomfield of Vanceburg; and three grandchildren, Christian Yates, Zoe McAdams, and Tatum Smith. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Marsha Bloomfield, Debra Swearingen, and Loretta Webb; one brother, Darrell Kamer; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Ronnie Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the funeral home.
