Russell Lee Toller, 74, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lewis County on May 12, 1951, a son of the late Marvin Fugate and Icy Dell Grayson Toller.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, rolling hay, shopping for antiques, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. (Janice) Toller and Gary (Jessica) Toller of Vanceburg; three sisters, Lena Gilbert of Wallingford, Pauline Florence of Flemingsburg, and Daisy Doyle of Foxport; one brother, Paul Toller of Manchester, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends will also sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara “Peggy” Aills Toller; two sisters, Helen Swim and Wanda Doyle; eight brothers, Omar Toller, Ray Toller, Elmer Toller, Walter Toller, Marvin Toller, Jim Toller, Wilmore Toller, and Winford Toller; and two brothers in infancy.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Adam Dunigan officiating. Burial will follow in Toller Family Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
