Judy Brown Bloomfield, 70, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the home of her sister.
She was born June 20, 1951, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Harvey and Marie Riley Brown.
Judy attended Southern Manor Baptist Church and was retired from Northern Contours. She enjoyed working in her yard, shopping with her sister, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
Judy is survived by one son, James Robert Bloomfield Jr. (Jolie) of Winchester; one daughter, Sonya Kay Hartley of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Georgia Helton (Dale) of Fairfield, Ohio, and Phyllis Smith (Norman) of Vanceburg; five grandchildren, Britny Hartley, Megan Hartley, Jacob Bloomfield, Emily Bloomfield, and Lily Bloomfield; and one great-grandson, Hank Hartley. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, James Robert Bloomfield Sr.; a brother, Bill Brown; and a nephew, Joey Smith.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of services Monday, October 4, 2021, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
