Lee Ann Dunaway Williams, 80, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her home.

She was born October 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Tom and Jessie Sartin Dunaway.

Lee Ann retired from US Shoe after more than 30 years of service and was a Foster Granny with the Lewis County School System. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, watching UK Basketball, and was always a faithful fan of the Lewis County Lions. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Charles Lee Williams; a son, Charles (Shirley) Williams Jr. of Vanceburg; two daughters, Sandy (Jay) Stafford of Vanceburg and Tammy (Eddie) Atkins of Smiths Grove; one sister, Gartha (Dennis) Reno of Lakeland, Florida; six grandchildren, Kayla (Jason) Elam, LeAnna (Blake) Todd, Hallie Atkins, Brycun Williams, Madison Atkins, and Cooper Atkins; and three great-grandchildren, Gus Elam, Mac Elam, and Jasper Todd.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by at brother, Lloyd Dunaway, and two sisters, Nancy Everman and Martha Ruggles.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tom Cox Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Liles Cemetery at Camp Dix.

Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.

Pallbearers will be Jason Elam, Blake Todd, Brycun Williams, Cooper Atkins, Tommy Lykins, and David Lykins.
