Bro. Fred Garrett

Fred Garrett

Brother Fred Boggs Garrett, 82, of Flemingsburg, passed peacefully from this world for the next on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

He faithfully served and passionately prayed over the congregations of Buchanan, West Virginia, and another 22 years at Petersville Church of Christ in Lewis County, and 26 years with his beloved congregation at the Crest Avenue Church of Christ in Flemingsburg.

For those who knew him, Bro. Fred loved watching his Wildcats and Reds play and working earnestly on his ministry studies. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend who held closely his spiritual family. His family’s hearts are hurting but they can see the smile on his face and in his eyes as the Lord tell him, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
