Betty Moore, 63, of Quincy, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Ashland Community Hospice.
She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on May 5, 1963, a daughter of Jane Potter and the late Norman Potter.
Betty attended South Shore Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her mother, those left behind to cherish her memory are a son, Kyle (Jennifer) Moore of Quincy; a granddaughter, Sadie Jane Moore; two brothers, David (Missy) Potter of Garrison and Brian (Angie) Potter of South Shore; her father-in-law, JR (Joyce) Moore of Quincy; a special friend, Cathy Rayburn; and several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Paul Moore, and mother-in-law, Carolyn Moore.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with David Robirds officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens at South Portsmouth.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home. Â
