Goldie Ilene Anderson Little, 93, of Vanceburg, passed away August 19, 2026, at Life Care Center in Morehead.
She was born October 11, 1932, in Monterey, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl McDaniel Anderson.
Goldie was a Pentecostal and loved attending church. She enjoyed going to picnics, traveling, listening to gospel music, and reading her Bible.
Goldie is survived by three daughters, Melanie Stone of Black Oak, Sherry Lawhorn of Morehead, and Eva Wilburn of Garrison; four sons, Lester Ray Meredith Jr. of Louisville, Clarence Earl Hager of Georgetown, Ohio, William Little Jr. of Morehead, and Daniel Stone Jr. of Quincy; one brother, Frank Anderson of Indiana; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Hattie Davis; two brothers, William Anderson and Max Mummert; and several grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be TW Snedegar, Randy Allen Wilburn, Roman Patrick, Stephen Hester, Chris Little, and Andrew Arnett.
