Mary Magdalene Bradford Stone, 92, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 15, 2017, at Hillview Retirement Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born April 4, 1925, in Bracken County, a daughter of the late Gobel and Grace Kennedy Bradford.
Mary was a member of Vanceburg United Methodist Church and worked until her retirement at US Shoe Factory in Vanceburg. She enjoyed reading, working in her flowers, quilting, bowling, doing volunteer work, and teaching Sunday School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Allen Stone; two brothers, William Bradford and Gobal Bradford Jr.; and three sisters, Wilma Ruth Bradford Stone, Noma Dunn, and Charlene Skidmore.
Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James David and Ann Marie Stone of Camp Dix; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwendolyn Sue and Victor Lee Hamilton of Wyandotte, Michigan, and Dusty Diane and Kenneth Eugene Tinsley of South Shore; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Sister Mickey Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
