Charles A. Corns, 21, of Garrison, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Charles was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on July 25, 2004, the son of Anthony Corns Jr. and Stephanie Riffe of Garrison. He worked for Carmeuse Lime and Stone Corporation at Maysville. His passions were golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of I’ll Talk for Jesus Pentecostal Church and Full Community Gospel Church. He was a 2022 graduate of Lewis County High School. Most of all, he loved the Lord and his family.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Anthony Corns Jr. and Stephanie Riffe of Garrison; one sister, Kayrena Corns of Garrison; his fiancée, Gracie Riffe, and expected son, Slayton Beau, of Garrison; paternal grandparents, Tony and Dianna Corns of Vanceburg; and maternal grandparents, Chuck and Kathy Riffe of Garrison.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Isaac Corns.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Bobby McCane officiating. Burial will be in Corns Family Cemetery at Garrison.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Gaydos Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Burriss, Eli Riffe, Kaden Lawhorn, Austin McCane, Michael McCane, Chuck Riffe, Isaiah Hall, and Henry “Paz” Carver.
