Ronald Dean “Cowboy” Rigdon, 68, of Maysville, died Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born March 6, 1958, in Lewis County, a son of the late Maurice Nelson and Audrey Cropper Rigdon.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He loved farming, animals, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include one son, Morris Dean (Jolene) Rigdon of Georgetown; three sisters, Irene Shoemaker of Maysville, Della Liles of Olive Hill, and Carmen Kinney of Vanceburg; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Rigdon.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, in Bethel Cemetery at Tollesboro with Bro. Jerry Blevins officiating.
